The installation was in the Completing Upgrade stage, restarted a few times, and on the most recent restart, the screen just shows the bluish green background with "Please Wait" at the bottom and the hour glass turning.
I have tried restarting the machine manually, but it just keeps going back to the same screen. I left the machine over night with that same screen, and when I went back to the computer the next morning, it was still showing the same screen.

Installation freezing at "Please Wait"
